Christmas That You Missed

On Wednesday July 22, Ocean Breeze Waterpark was the site for the fourth annual Christmas That You Missed, sponsored by 97.3 The Eagle, Alion Science and Technology , and the USO of Hampton Roads.

Military families who were not together at Christmas because of deployment were able to celebrate Christmas together. Santa was on hand to take pictures, and the families were able to have an awesome time swimming! There was also a live performance by Megan Mullins! All the families who came out had a blast. It was a perfect way to celebrate and thank the men and women who serve our country and their families!

On Saturday we had Christmas in July at Ocean Breeze Waterpark! I blogged about it, and then I reminded you about it, so if you didn't come you missed all the fun! Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were there to take your early Christmas requests, and we had awesome decorations courtesy of Hunt Club Farm. Check out the awesome pictures of our Holiday celebration!

We just updated Ocean Breeze Waterpark's website! It's easier to navigate, has group and birthday reservation forms, and you can get more details and see more pictures of our rides and attractions! Head on over and check it out!

Reminder: Christmas in July!

Ocean Breeze Waterpark is excited to announce Christmas in July! The event will be taking place July 25 at Ocean Breeze Waterpark, and will feature a visit from the jolly old man himself: Santa Claus!

Santa Claus and his lovely wife Mrs. Claus will be in a cabana from 12pm to 4pm. The day will also feature Christmas music, decorations, crafts, holiday activities, prizes and a Christmas window display in our gift shop courtesy of Hunt Club Farm!

If the summer's got you down and you're anxious for cold weather and Christmas, come on by! We can't offer you the cold weather, but you can definitely look forward to some Christmas cheer!

This week we were excited to welcome the Mike and Bob Show from 96x on Tuesday, and Woo Woo from the Afternoon Point on 94.9 The Point on Wednesday. Here are some pictures from their visits!

Our Gorilla Prize patrol searches our parking lot every single day for a season passholder of the day. How do you win? Just by keeping your Ocean Breeze Waterpark magnet on your car! Every day we go to the parking lot and look for cars that have the Ocean Breeze Waterpark magnet, and then pick a lucky winner! You could win prizes ranging from free food and beverage coupons to a free cabana!

Yesterday everyone with a magnet on their car won a coupon for a free regular soda or souvenir cup refill!

You even have a chance to win one thousand dollars later this summer!

The staff and I will be out at select locations for the rest of the summer. If you come by with an Ocean Breeze magnet we'll give you a prize! Our first outing is tomorrow at the Coldstone Creamery at the Red Mill Commons shopping center on Nimmo Parkway. So come by (with your magnet) and visit me! Look for the big gorilla in a Hawaiian shirt!

The Jungle Island Adventure High Dive Show

Get ready to see some crazy animals at Ocean Breeze Waterpark! A tiger, a zebra, a leopard, a giraffe, and a monkey are invading the place (people in costumes...not real animals)! That's right everyone, the Jungle Island Adventure High Dive Show starts tomorrow! The show features music and comedy while the dive team performs their acrobatics on a trampoline, diving boards and an 80 foot ladder!

The Show arrived in town and started setting up earlier this week. The 80 foot ladder is even taller than I am! Make sure you come check out this awesome dive show, which starts tomorrow and runs until August 9th! There are 3 shows a day. The first and third shows each day are the Jungle Island High Dive Show and the second show is the Tropical Adventure High Dive Show. So you can see two different shows during the day, and the final show each day features a fire dive! Make sure you come check it out!

Happy 4th of July Everyone!

I wanted to remind you that tomorrow is that last day to check out Bixby and Friends Presents: Rainforest Experience LIVE at Ocean Breeze Waterpark! There are only two performances left, so don't miss it! I sure am going to miss all those animals around. It's nice to have someone to talk to who understands you, you know?

Better Hurry or You Might Miss It!

This is the last weekend that Bixby and Friends Presents: Rainforest Experience LIVE will be at Ocean Breeze Waterpark. There are three performances on Friday and Saturday and two on Sunday. That's right, you only have eight remaining opportunities to catch this awesome and educational show!

Bixby and his friends leave town on Sunday, and on Friday the Jungle Island Adventure Dive Show starts! This jungle themed dive show features a five-member dive team performing the antics of a tiger, zebra, leopard, giraffe, and monkey. They perform acrobatics on the trampoline, diving boards and an 80 foot ladder! So come check out this amazing show from July 10 - August 9!
